We are a group of people who are interested in robotics and automation, and we aim to provide automated service in different fields. This team is primarily led by Weitung Chen, a Taiwanese dessert lover and robotics enthusiast. He realized the problem of labor shortage in many of these dessert stores and started building robots in the hope to provide a way to aid the daily operation of a store. We came together with the same vision: Hoping to develop new technologies to provide automated service and aid humans on repetitive tasks. Now, our team is ready to launch and dedicated to the development of our first automated dessert store.
MIT EECS, Design and mechanical engineering minor. Lead of the entrepreneurial team. I am a Taiwanese dessert lover but couldn’t find a single satisfying Taiwanese dessert shop near MIT. While I ate the $7.5 lookalike Taiwanese dessert in one of the shops near MIT, I wondered if it’s possible to build a robot that is capable of making Taiwanese dessert with a consistent flavor and at a low price. Now, having this wonderful team, I can’t wait to open our first automated store featuring my favorite “Douhua”.

Participated in lots of commercial competition studies in Accountancy. Co-founder of the entrepreneurial who handles accounting, finance, marketing, and operation. After having close contact with my friend Weitung, I figured out the automated dessert store is a good idea to operate in Taiwan. Therefore, I take care of all the tasks except for the R&D part and designing. With the wonderful R&D team, success is foreseeable.

I am passionate about designing mechanical tools to improve people's lives. At MIT, in addition to my Aerospace Engineering major, I am a part of the New Engineering Education Transform program (NEET), focusing on Autonomous Machines. Joining the entrepreneurial team and working on mechanical design, I hope to help serve Douhua in a fast and unique way.
